Eighth-grade students at Windsor Mill Middle School will complete a career-focused project through their Business & Computer Science class with Mr. Jackson. Students will investigate career pathways, connect their interests and strengths to future opportunities, and create a project that helps them prepare for high school and beyond.

What Is the Career Project?

The Career Project gives students an opportunity to explore possible careers before entering high school. Students will investigate industries, education requirements, workplace skills, and career pathways while thinking intentionally about their own interests and strengths.

The goal is not for students to choose one career forever. The goal is for students to learn how to research possibilities, understand themselves, make informed decisions, and build a plan for what comes next.
