Windsor Mill Middle School is an International Baccalaureate World School, thanks to a federally funded Magnet School Assistance Program (MSAP) grant. The IB program is known the world over as a rigorous, inquiry based, educational framework that challenges students to think globally, tackle real-world problems, and work collaboratively with teachers and fellow students. As a middle school, Windsor Mill is part of the Middle Years Program (MYP) and prepares students for other IB programs, such as the Diploma Program and the Career Program. 

They will: 

    • be encouraged to think independently and drive their own learning 
    • take part in programs of education that can lead them to some of the best universities around the world 
    • become more culturally aware, through the development of a second language 
    • be able to engage with people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing world.

All students at Windsor Mill are a part of the IB program and receive instruction from IB certified teachers and IB aligned units. Additionally, 8th grade students participate in the IB Community Project in the spring of their 8th grade year.
